I don’t know about you, but I happen to find Las Vegas to be hilarious. The things folks decide to do there boggles the mind…and tickles the funny bone. I just had to capture some of that silliness in a story, after all I lived there for 14 years. I may not have seen it all, but I saw a lot.
This series is love, laughter and a touch of murder Vegas-style.
When I was young, I wanted to be a doctor. I became a writer. A great mash-up.
After Me, a thriller with a medical twist, grew from this question: What if a young woman with a genetic form of early-onset Alzheimer’s volunteers to be a guinea pig in a very experimental clinical trial using stem cell therapy.
And, what if this woman has a brutal past as an undercover cop that she doesn’t remember. And, what if she is in witness protection. AND, what if she comes home one night to find a man with a knife in his chest in her bathtub? Will she remember before it’s too late?
Romantic suspense, helicopters, the Coast Guard… what could be better?
Okay, so I like to fly. Scratch that, I LOVE to fly—an endlessly exhilarating, occasionally terrifying, endeavor. So, I envisioned a helicopter pilot, a FEMALE helicopter pilot, who flies dangerous missions to the oil rigs in the Gulf of Mexico.
Deep Water, the first in the series, introduces Sam Donovan, the pilot, her very attractive nemesis, Commander Kellen Wilder of the U.S. Coast Guard, and Patrick Donovan, Sam’s father and a wildcatter who just might have the strike of a lifetime. News of the strike gets out and things become deadly.
Flying, family, oil, greed, and a bit of love.
I like wine—not a huge bombshell to those who know me. But, until a couple of years ago, this oenophile had never been to Napa. So, I went, and I fell in love.
Conceived of as a four-book series, this series follows four women (and their men) each of whom toils in her chosen vocation in the farm-to-table movement—the winemaker, the artisanal cheese maker, the baker and the restaurateur. These are feel-good stories as each woman finds the life she was meant to live—and serves up some killer wine, cheese, and chocolate (yes, recipes and pairings included).
